Step 1 - Download BlueStacks Installer

Step 2 - Install BlueStacks

After downloading the installer, simply run it and go through all installation steps like any other installer.

Step 3 - Ensure that Hardware Virtualization is Enabled

BlueStacks (and android emulators in general) will work without hardware virtualization however, everything will be extremely slow and laggy. It is extremely recommended to enable hardware virtualization on your computer before moving forward. You can do this step last if you want. Try to run an emulator without it enabled, and then enable it. You will notice a significant increase in performance and wonder why you didn't just do it in the first place! Step 4 - Setup Your BlueStacks Instances

Follow the BlueStacks guide here to setup and configure BlueStacks instances:

Important: When creating new instances, make sure not to use "Large virtual address". If you are having issues with the bot detecting your BlueStacks instance, try making a new instance with a different android version. Currently we recommend using "32 bit Nougat". 

 

 

Step 5 - Install Games on BlueStacks Instances

Now you need to install the game that you wish to play. Follow the guide here:

Note: You can save yourself a step later if you create your instance with "Landscape" and resolution set to "1280x720" during the BlueStacks instance creation process. 

 

Step 6 - Configure BlueStacks Instances for BotSauce

Now that your BlueStacks instances are all setup, we just need to make sure a few settings are set correctly then we are ready to go!

 

In the BlueStacks instance that you want to bot on, open the settings window. 

 

There are 2 important settings that need to be correct for BotSauce to work properly with BlueStacks. 

1. Display -> Resolution 

Set to "Landscape" and "1280x720". Then press Save. When prompted, you may need to restart the emulator. 

 

 

2. Preferences -> Language = English

Make sure that your emulator language is set to English for the bot to work properly. 

 

 

3. Preferences -> Enable Android Debug Bridge (ADB)

Make sure this is enabled. 

Important: After enabling ADB, you may need to restart the BlueStacks instance and or BotSauce in order for the new BlueStacks instance to be detected in BotSauce! You only need to do this the first time you enable ADB, after that it will work normally. 

 

 

Step 7 - BlueStacks Setup Complete!

Now you should be able to run your BlueStacks instance, and open the installed application/game.

At the time of writing this guide, BlueStacks does not support multi instance manager on Mac. This is a windows only feature. For Mac, simply open the BlueStacks application.

 

 

Step 5 - Install Games on BlueStacks Instances

Now you need to install the game that you wish to play. Follow the guide here:

Step 6 - Configure BlueStacks Instances for BotSauce

Now that your BlueStacks instances are all setup, we just need to make sure a few settings are set correctly then we are ready to go!

 

In the BlueStacks instance that you want to bot on, open the preferences window.

Step 2 - Install MEmu

After downloading the installer, simply run it and go through all installation steps like any other installer.

Step 4 - Setup your MEmu Instances

Now that you have successfully downloaded and installed MEmu, you need to configure an instance of MEmu. You can use the default instance by simply running MEmu, but I highly suggest getting acquainted with Multi-MEmu. This will be the hub for running multiple instances of MEmu, which allows for you to also run multiple bots at the same time via BotSauce.  For a full guide on configuring MEmu instances, checkout the official MEmu multi instance guide here:

Step 4a - MEmu Configuration

Open the MEmu instance settings and configure the display settings as shown below for optimal performance with BotSauce.

 

 

 

 

Step 4b - BotSauce MEmu Manager Configuration

Now you have the ability to configure MEmu instances from BotSauce's internal instance manager, using this tool you can start, stop and auto configure Memu instances.

 

 

 

Step 5 - Install Games on MEmu Instances

Now you need to install the game that you wish to play. Follow the official MEmu guide here:

Step 6 - Configure MEmu Instance Settings for BotSauce

Now that you have some instances created, make sure that your emulator settings are optimized for the game you want to play, as well as optimized for BotSauce. After changing MEmu settings, you may be required to restart the MEmu instance.

 

Some key things to note:

• Engine
  • Performance depends on your preference
  • Some games require OpenGL some require DirectX, some it doesn't matter. If you have issues, switch this to the other option and restart the emulator. 
  • If in doubt, enable root mode
• Display
  • For BotSauce, it is required to use "Tablet" 1280x720 resolution.
• Preferences
  • Make sure that language is set to English!
  • 
• All other Tabs & Settings
  • Settings are up to you!

 

 

Step 7 - MEmu Setup Complete!

Now you should be able to run your MEmu instance, and open the installed application/game. 

MEmu currently only supports windows. Checkout our BlueStacks setup guide for an emulator that also supports Mac!

 

The setup process is identical for Windows and Mac, since this is about configuring the physical phone itself, and nothing specific to the Windows PC or Mac being used. So either way, you can follow these steps to setup a USB device. 

 

 

1. Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging

The first step is to make sure developer options and USB Debugging is enabled on your android device. Typically, to enable developer options you will:

1. Open "Settings"
2. Open "About Phone" or "System" depending on android version
3. Tap on "Build Number" 7 times in a row to enable developer options

 

Once developer options are enabled, you must enable USB Debugging. Typically you will:

1. Open "Settings"
2. Open "System > Advanced > Developer Options" or "System > Developer Options" or "Developer Options" depending on your android version
3. Find the "USB debugging" option and make sure it is enabled

2. Connect The Device Via USB

Now that USB debugging is enabled, we can simply connect the device to the computer via a USB cable. After connecting, you may hear a notification sound on your computer indicating a new device is detected. If the bot is already open, the new device should be detected after a minute or two max. If the bot is not detecting the new device after a couple of minutes, you can try some of the following steps:

• Make sure in BotSauce, you have enabled "Show USB & Other Devices" on top
• Disconnect the device and reconnect it via USB
• Try another USB cable
• Try another USB port on your computer
• Restart BotSauce
• Restart the physical device

3. Set Device Language to English

Your device will need to be set to English to work with the bot. This will vary depending on your Android device, and operating system. 

 

 

4. Turn OFF device SLEEP & LOCK features

Your device will need to have the SLEEP and LOCK features turned off for the bot to function correctly. These settings will vary depending on your Android device, and operating system. 

 

 

5. All Done!

Now that you have setup the device, you can start botting!

Set to "Tablet" and "1280x720". Then press Save. When prompted, you may need to restart the emulator. 

 

 

2. Basic Settings Tab -> Language = English

 

 

3. Basic Settings Tab -> Enable Android Debug Bridge (ADB) 

Make sure this is set to open/enable.

 

 

Step 7 - LDPlayer Setup Complete!

Now you should be able to run your LDPlayer instance, and open the installed application/game.
