  1. Introduction This is the complete getting started guide for BotSauce. Follow the links below from start to finish to get BotSauce fully setup and running on the device of your choosing. If you have any issues, please feel free to join us in chat, or make a post on the forums for help. 2. Introduction BotSauce is written in Java, specifically using Java 11 which is the latest LTS (Long Term Support) release of java. Many people may still be using java 1.8 due to older software still requiring this. But fret not, you can have multiple versions of java installed without causing issues! In addition to that, we also provide multiple versions of the BotSauce client for users to download, from the straight Jar, to a full installer bundled with Java for ease of use. Each download type of BotSauce will be explained below, with pros and cons, as well as steps to setup and run the client. Please keep in mind that you will need to have an account on the forum to be able to use to bot. Prerequisites None: This is the first step! What's Next? 3. Introduction Along with android emulators, BotSauce also supports botting on physical devices connected to your computer via USB. Once connected, these devices should be detected just like an emulator. BotSauce is also capable of supporting emulators, such as BlueStacks and MEmu. If you want to use an emulator, then you do not need to follow this USB Device setup and installation guide. Instead follow one of these guides: If you wish to use BlueStacks, follow our BlueStacks setup and installation guide by clicking here If you wish to use MEmu, follow our MEmu setup and installation guide by clicking here If you wish to use LDPlayer, follow our LDPlayer setup and installation guide by clicking here Prerequisites Make sure BotSauce is installed and setup [Click Here] Your device has to be Android. What's Next? Find the Setup Guide for the game you want to bot [Click Here] USB Device Setup & Installation Windows and Mac Troubleshooting Note: If you are experiencing issues running a bot on your device after you have successfully configured BotSauce, try the following: Start the bot for the game you wish to bot Close the app if it is open on your android device Restart the application that you are attempting to bot (with the bot still running) This happens sometimes due to device scaling being managed by the bot. Games do not always immediately take scaling into effect, so the android application may need to be restarted for proper scaling to be applied.
  4. Introduction MEmu is an Android emulator that allows you to run Android applications on your computer. MEmu can run the game, and BotSauce will then interact with it in order to function. There are multiple emulators that we support, MEmu is just one of them. BotSauce is also capable of supporting other emulators, such as BlueStacks, as well as physical USB devices connected to your computer. If you want to use another emulator, or a physical USB device, then you do not need to follow this MEmu setup and installation guide. Instead follow one of these guides: If you wish to use BlueStacks, follow our BlueStacks setup and installation guide by clicking here If you wish to use a physical android device connected via USB, follow our USB setup and installation guide by clicking here Prerequisites Make sure BotSauce is installed and setup [Click Here] What's Next? 6. This is on our list. I went ahead and shared the complete list in the post above (I just added it). I just added a table to the post above. Check it out and let me know if you have any suggestions or comments. The list is constantly growing.
  7. Ok I have added both of those to our list of potential games. Let me know if you have any other suggestions! User feedback is the best way for us to release meaningful content I'll see about updating the post here to share our complete list of games that people have suggested, and whether or not we plan to add them. We have an internal list that we don't share with users, but I'll try to reformat it and share it here soon. I'll let you know once I do so you can take a look!
  8. Ok thanks for the suggestion. I am looking at the game more and I'll see, maybe we can add it as the next game or two
  9. I added boom beach to our list to look into. Idle heroes was actually already on our list of potential bots to add. I guess Idle heroes is kinda similar to AFK Arena in play style, is that right?
  10. I haven't played boom beach before. What kind of features would this bot need?
  11. Added to my todo list. I need to do some memory analysis and see where the usage is coming from.
  12. I'm not super familiar with this one, but it sounds like a bug when you unlock something new that I just didn't get to. I think this was probably missed since my account isn't that far yet. I'm only on 5-39 at the moment. I'll bot up account up a bit more to reproduce and fix this issue. Not sure how long it will take me to get up to 6-40 Thanks for the bug report!
  13. Thanks for the bug report. I'll try to get this resolved in the next release or two (depending how distracted I get with other changes ).
  14. If you're looking to install Java 11, it means that you're trying to run the BotSauce jar file. If you are using the BotSauce Setup windows installer, you need not install Java 11 to run it, since the windows installer comes with the Java 11 Runtime Environment bundled. Oracle has changed its software distribution model to follow more along the lines of the Linux distribution model. Previously most things were using Java 1.8 however, Java 11 is the new LTS (Long Term Support) version of java, and 1.8 will eventually be obsolete. Along with this change, Oracle is also requiring licensing to use java for commercial purposes. Anyway, enough about that. Lets get into how to install Java 11! There are two options to install Java 11, you can download and install the official Oracle release, or you can download and install the OpenJDK version. Both are good options, but for the oracle version you will need to create an account to download it. Both options are explained below. Windows Mac
  15. BotSauce Version 1.008 is now available for download here. Release Notes This release adds a new bot: Cookie Clicker Bot! Cookie Clicker Bot is available to all users for free! This is a simple, but fun bot for a simple but fun game. General Added a tips section at the bottom of the bot window instance view Fixed the bot to not un-minimize MEmu instances that are inactive. Previously BotSauce would un-minimize any MEmu instance automatically. Now it will only un-minimize them if needed. Fixed a bug if you closed the bot with popups open, it would not close the popups. Now it will close any open popups when you close the bot. Improved communication protocol between BotSauce client and server AFK Arena No Changes Raid: Shadow Legends No Changes Cookie Clicker Opens the cookie tab if it's not already open when you start Supports variable click speed defined by the user (max speed can click ~70k cookies per hour!) Supports randomizing clicks, or clicking the same spot Supports stopping after "x" cookies clicked Helpful Links Setup & Installation Guide - MEmu Setup & Installation Guide - BotSauce Setup & Installation Guide - Java 11 How to Report a Bug How to Bot Raid: Shadow Legends Hot to Bot - AFK Arena Regards, - The BotSauce Team
  16. BotSauce Version 1.007 is now available for download here. Release Notes This release is focused on automatically sizing the emulator to the BotSauce recommended size for optimal bot performance. General Added a Client Setting (left side of bot) to "Automatically Size Emulator on Start". If enabled (recommended) the bot will check that the emulator instance is set to the recommended size before starting, and if not the bot will resize the MEmu instance automatically for you. This ensures a smoother botting experience. As of MEmu version 7.2.1, they now support windows scaling. This caused some weird things to happen with the bot. If you have windows scaling enabled, make sure you have this setting enabled in the bot (it's already enabled by default). In general, this is a recommended setting to have enabled anyway. Added a button on the Emulator Settings screen to "Auto Size Emulator". This is separate from the setting above, but performs the same auto size function to make sure the emulator is at the recommended size. This button just gives a manual way to perform the same action. 17. BotSauce Version 1.006 is now available for download here. Release Notes This release was heavily focused on quality of life updates for the bot client, and adding a few new features to the Raid bot. General Added a BotSauce icon to the windows system tray Added an option in the bot to "Minimize to System Tray" (See the new button on the top right of the client, to the right of your username) When minimized to system tray, the bot will continue running in the background To restore the bot, simply click the BotSauce icon on your windows system tray Added a new Settings window to the bot on the left tool bar, click it to access new client settings Added a new client setting to enable/disable the bot from using system notifications Added a new client setting to enable/disable the bot from rendering emulator previews. It can potentially save on CPU/RAM if you disable this, but you will not see emulator previews anymore in the bot. Added multiple windows notifications upon different bot events (like when you level up, there will be a windows notification) The bot home screen emulator preview grid will now dynamically size the number of columns based on client width. For example, if the bot client is resized to be narrow, it may only have 1 column and multiple rows. Previously it was always fixed at 3 columns max. It will make more sense if you have multiple emulators open, and you resize the bot window! AFK Arena No Changes Raid: Shadow Legends Added support to automatically collect quest rewards at user specified time intervals Added support to automatically collect playtime rewards at user specified time intervals The bot will now "Baseline" before it starts, meaning it will go to the home screen before beginning activities. This ensures the most accurate bot execution. Added "Current Level" and "Current Stage" counters to the stats area when running in campaign mode Closes popup screens much faster: Sometimes there are a bunch of in game popups in a row, which is annoying. So it will close them more rapidly now.
